Our Approach
Still Becoming Yoga is a person-centered, nervous system approach to practicing yoga. We believe growth and expansion can happen during life's major transitions, and having resilience through change depends upon a regulated nervous system.

Our vision is to provide a safe place to learn and practice self-regulating tools and to build and support a resilient nervous system. We work with individuals to realize self-authority and learn to self-regulate.

We welcome all bodies, and prioritize the individual needs of the students. We offer movement, breath and self-regulating practices to help bring you back into attunement with yourself, and stay in connection with others.
About Margot
First introduced to yoga as a child, Margot has been a devoted yoga student since taking a required class in college. In 2016 she deepened her practice by studying to become a Power Vinyasa Yoga instructor with Karen and Sean Conley of Amazing Yoga, Pittsburgh.
After a series of pivotal live changes, Margot recognized her physical yoga practice was no longer relieving her stress. As she explored different yoga modalities, she found a nervous system centered approach to be transformative.
In 2021, Margot began her study of Stress and Trauma Aware Yoga with Jenn Wooten of Waking Yoga, in Austin, TX, and in February 2023 completed her 200 RYT with Waking Yoga, focusing on nervous system regulation. As a trauma aware teacher, Margot prioritizes the individual needs of students and emphasizes self-authority in practice.
Margot's lived experience of building resilience while moving through life changes informs her teaching and her passion for sharing this practice with others.
